In the distance I see lightning bolts striking the earth, Soon I hear
the wheels of Donar's mighty wagon echoing within the thunder,
I raise my drinking horn filled ale and say, Red-bearded protector of
the Gods, I offer you this ale in thanks, A God so beloved by many a
Heathen heart, My horn now at my lips, I drink deeply and the rest I
pour upon the earth,
Now it is done, a gift for a gift.
