Mother's
Dead
(© 2006
Wodhskadh Helblindi)
Do you remember
the silver
moon
Do you remember
cold nights
in June
The sun in the
mornings
the clouds
at noon
And the nights
at the quay...
in search
for our golden swoon
Do you remember
the stars at night
Dou you remember
their silv'ry light
The green forests
that awesome sight
Of the sunset
a kaleidoscope collide...
Do you remember
the desert land
Dou you remember
the coloured sand
The eagle's flight
so wild and free
The meeting between
the sand and sea...
See the bloodred skies
That hurts the eyes
As terror strikes
Another dies
See the fighter planes
The sad goodbyes
And the power glows
Our Mother waves goodbye... ... ...
*** *** ***
Dou you remember
the day we met
Dou you remember
the day we fled
Reaching for the sky
while our planet bled
Tears in burning eyes
we saw her fiery death
Never forget... Our Mother's
dead...
