May Your Walk in this Forest
(© 2005 Wodhskadh Helblindi)

May your walk in this forest, lost, in pain and insecure...

Only to find there already waiting;

the Horned Giver of Plenty and the Lady of the Cats...

And may all this endurance be the preparation, dear lady of faith...

Spirit of dark ways, Spirit of Leaf

Spirit of Woodhome and Spirit of Life

Spirit of Love and Spirit of Plenty

Spirit of Ancience and Wisdom and Form...

Nine Spirits unfold and silently behold

Flow into this unmaker and reshape to unpain

Take hold of the spirit of corrupting and wrong form

Engulfed with new vitality and Runes of Might,

restored, resanctified and reinstated...

Shine brightly, Spirit; even in the darkwoods

for never far away is a door to a new day.

Don't think I'm demented, unskilled or un-lored,

words oft' flow freely as the wind or the water;

and then like wavelets or eddies we cast...

How seldom thoughts and words will last...
